What is the 247 Dentist and how does it work?

The 247 Dentist is an out-of-hours emergency dental service providing out-of-hours private emergency dental cover.

As soon as your Practice closes, The 247 Dentist brings in our own fully qualified, fully-indemnified and GDC-registered dental team to provide the emergency treatment.

Temporary external and internal signage will indicate the location to patients. The Practice will be cleaned and locked all ready for your patients at opening time. Payment for the use of the premises will be made on a monthly basis at a pre-agreed rate.

What materials or equipment would you be expected to provide as a Hosting Practice?

The 247 Dentist will provide a full temporary reception with our own phone system, card machines, computers and dental software. In addition to this, our clinical team will provide their own dental equipment and materials. This includes all consumables, drills, burs and extraction equipment.

The 247 Dentist will only require use of the Dental chair, x-ray facilities and decontamination room

How the247dentist can benefit your Practice

Premises fee

The 247 Dentist will pay an hourly fee for use of your Practice. This can add up to thousands of pounds every month! This income is generated at very little cost to yourself as we are operating at times when the Practice is closed.

New patients

Any patients that access The 247 Dentist for emergency treatment and are not registered with a dentist currently will be encouraged to register as a new private patient at your Practice. These patients will often require extensive treatment which may offer a significant boost to the private treatment revenue at your Practice.
